Default Booking Terms

The default contract between Venues and Talent for bookings made on Bridge

These Default Booking Terms apply to every booking of a Performer, Act, or Tech (each, a "Talent") by a venue or organizer (the "Venue") confirmed through the Bridge Services, unless the Venue and Talent have agreed in writing to different terms for that booking. The details shown in the booking confirmation — date, time, location, compensation, and any listed requirements — are part of these terms.

1. The Contract Is Between You

When a booking is confirmed through the Bridge Services, a direct contract forms between the Venue and the Talent on these terms. Bridge Booking LLC ("Bridge") is not a party to that contract. Bridge provides the platform and processes payments as described in the Bridge Live Payment Terms.

2. Performance

Talent agrees to perform at the confirmed date, time, and location, for the confirmed duration, in a professional manner, and to arrive with reasonable lead time for setup. Unless the booking states otherwise, Talent provides its own instruments and performance equipment, and the Venue provides the performance space, power, and any equipment or services stated in the listing.

3. Compensation and Payment

The Venue agrees to pay Talent the compensation stated in the booking. Payment is made through the Bridge Services and governed by the Payment Terms; under those terms, payment made to Bridge is deemed payment made to the Talent. Unless the booking states otherwise, compensation is due upon completion of the performance.

4. Cancellation

Cancel through the Bridge Services as early as possible. Unless the booking states otherwise: a booking canceled before the performance begins carries no cancellation fee, and no compensation is owed for it; a completed performance must be paid in full. The Venue and Talent may agree to different cancellation terms for a booking, and that agreement controls.

5. Conduct and Safety

Talent will comply with the Venue's posted rules and applicable law while at the venue. The Venue will provide reasonably safe working conditions and comply with applicable law in operating the event, and is responsible for public-performance licenses for music at its premises.

6. Independent Parties

The Venue and Talent are independent contracting parties. Nothing in these terms or in the use of the Bridge Services creates an employment, agency, joint-venture, or partnership relationship between the Venue and Talent, or between either of them and Bridge.

7. Promotion

Each party may identify the other in factual promotion of the booked event (names, Act name, event details, and images provided for the listing). No other rights in either party's intellectual property are granted.

8. Disputes

Disputes about a booking are between the Venue and the Talent, and they will attempt to resolve them directly. Bridge has no obligation to resolve booking disputes and may suspend disputed amounts as described in the Payment Terms.
