Richard Daigle

New Orleans-born Richard Daigle, 70, is a late blooming singer/songwriter who released his first album, Average Joe, in 2020 and two more, Cajun People and Gentle Man, in 2024. He twice made the Chattanooga finals of TN Songwriter Week, the finals of Seniors Got Talent, and had a song, Cajun People, named semifinalist in the International Songwriter Competition (ISC). One reviewer commented, “so who is Richard Daigle? Some Arlo Guthrie, some Bob Dylan and of course, the late, great John Prine.” Another reviewer said “Daigle is thriving in his “second act,” sharing his raw and heartfelt songs with audiences, proving it’s never too late to pursue your passion.”
