Alex Seier (pronounced “sigh-er”) is a Nashville-based musician, songwriter, producer, guitarist, vocalist, music director, designer, and creative consultant with more than 25 years across the music industry. After growing up on a small farm in Pennsylvania, earning a BFA in Communication Design, and starting out in a steady 9-to-5 job, Alex found himself inescapably pulled toward music. Having only picked up his mom’s beat-up acoustic guitar in college, he quickly fell in love with songs, performance, and audience connection. What followed was the unremitting chase of a dream from city to city. As an artist and songwriter, Alex secured a major-label recording contract with Lava/Atlantic Records. Producer Josh Abraham (Velvet Revolver, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Staind) signed on to produce the album after unwittingly hearing one of Alex’s songs in a friend’s car. The record included a co-write with one of Alex’s idols, Dean DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots, and received national radio play and media attention. Alex later secured a publishing deal with Old Bank Music while continuing to build a professional songwriting, production, and artist-development catalog across country, pop, rock, and singer-songwriter projects. Alongside the songs and production, he was asked to build and develop the company infrastructure, catalog systems, workflows, internal tools, brand identity, marketing materials, industry relationships, and creative operations. As a guitarist, vocalist, and music director, Alex has performed, toured, and supported artists across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia, including Jessie James Decker, Secondhand Serenade, Teddy Geiger, Karissa Ella, Jackson Harris, and others. He has appeared on MTV’s You Hear It First, Today, Ellen, CBS, The CW, VH1, CMT, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Nickelodeon, and HBO. The opportunity to perform at storied venues, festivals, arenas, and stadiums around the world has left an indelible mark. He has written or co-written released songs recorded by artists in the United States, Canada, and Australia, including “Summertime Soundtrack” by Hayley Jensen, which reached #1 on Australian country radio, and “Yard Sale” by Harper Grace, which was performed and featured on American Idol. His songs and productions have also been placed across major television, sports, youth media, advertising, and retail platforms, including CMT, Discovery Channel, A&E, ABC, NBC Sports, Nickelodeon, MTV, PGA Tour Entertainment, MuchMusic, and NBC Universal. After years spent writing, producing, performing, touring, forming meaningful relationships, and developing artists, Alex has always known his innate purpose: a relentless devotion to helping people find the truest version of themselves and their voice.
