Marcus Kiser

Marcus Kiser is a songwriter and musician based in Franklin, Tennessee, originally hailing from North Carolina. A co-founder and lead singer of Old Southern Moonshine Revival, Marcus spent over a decade touring across the U.S., performing in both major cities and small towns, and sharing stages at some of the nation’s most recognized festivals. During that time, he was also a signed songwriter, crafting songs that found their way onto XM Radio and into the catalogs of multiple artists. As a writer, Marcus has secured cuts with Jason Michael Carroll, Gary Alexander, Josh Phillips, Jon Montgomery, as well as his own project, Old Southern Moonshine Revival, work that reflects his strength in authentic, story-driven songwriting. His music is deeply personal, rooted in storytelling, inspired by family, community, and life on the road. For Marcus, music isn’t just a craft; it’s a way of processing the world. It’s therapy. It’s connection. It’s joy. Today, he writes independently and is focused on developing his solo project while continuing to collaborate with other artists. Above all, he’s driven by gratitude for the experiences, the lessons, and the ability to give voice to what so many feel but can’t always say. Marcus is a proud husband, father, son, and friend. And through it all, he keeps coming back to the same simple truth: he loves music.
