Ashley Carter

Ashley Carter was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, but some of her fondest memories come from her family’s ranch in Seymour, where she grew up hunting, fishing, helping with cattle, and competing in barrel racing. That West Texas lifestyle shaped her grit, independence, and love for a challenge — traits that are woven into everything she does, from the stories she tells to the way she carries herself on stage. During COVID, she had the chance to spend extended time living on the ranch, reconnecting with that life she’d grown up in and the roots that define her. From dusty rodeo arenas to bright lights on stage, Ashley brings genuine cowgirl energy to every performance. Known for high-energy, fun, and upbeat shows that get crowds moving, she never loses the heart behind the music. Texas is in her voice, her stories, and the way she connects with an audience, whether it’s a small writers’ round or a packed room. After briefly studying at Belmont University, Ashley transferred to the University of Texas to be closer to home. She graduated and released her first two singles while working at a beer and spirits distributor. Eventually, she moved to Nashville to pursue music full-time, bringing her Texas backbone, high-energy presence, and love for performing with her wherever she goes. Ashley’s performances are bold, heartfelt, and fun — a little badass, deeply Texas, and always meant to make the crowd feel something. She doesn’t just sing country music; she lives it, and she invites everyone along for the ride.
