American songwriter Andrew Leahey and Australian artist Katie Bates bring two distinct musical worlds together in a harmony-driven partnership rooted in rock & roll, alt-country, and timeless Americana. Hailed by Rolling Stone for his “sharp storytelling and fist-pumping rock & roll swagger,” Andrew has built a career as a songwriter, guitarist, vocalist, and frontman across five acclaimed albums. A Juilliard School-trained vocalist and three-time semifinalist in the International Songwriting Competition, he fronts Nashville-based Andrew Leahey & The Homestead while also working as an in-demand sideman. His career has taken him from sold-out shows in Nashville to stages across Europe, performing alongside artists including Willie Nelson, John Oates, Steve Earle, The Mavericks, and Elizabeth Cook. His music draws comparisons to Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen while moving freely between heartland rock, Americana, and melodic pop. Katie emerged from Melbourne’s roots and rock community, building an international audience through her critically acclaimed solo work and years of touring across more than 20 countries. A guitarist, bassist, harmony singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, she has toured with artists including Hannah Aldridge, Sam Outlaw, Jason Charles Miller, Henry Wagons, and The Pleasures. Her own music bridges ’70s country, ’90s grunge, roots-rock, and modern Americana, drawing inspiration from artists such as PJ Harvey, Kurt Cobain, and Marc Bolan. Her recent Nashville-recorded single “Tunnel Vision,” which she co-produced and performed much of the instrumentation on, marks a grittier evolution of that sound. Together, Andrew and Katie combine their solo catalogs, favorite covers, and years of international touring experience into a dynamic duo performance. Trading lead vocals and instruments, they reimagine songs from across their careers through acoustic guitars, close vocal harmonies, and the natural chemistry of two seasoned songwriters sharing the stage.
