DT Jacobs is a singer songwriter and blue collar worker of more than 35 years. His lyrics tend to be socially conscious with a heavy dose of working class struggle having lost nearly everything in the 2008 economic crash. His musical style is comparable to artists like Jason Isbell and Tyler Childers. He does mostly original music but does know a few country classics by artists like Bobby Bare, Dolly Parton and Hal Ketchum. This Nashville newcomer is a spry 56 years old. Better late than never.
