Ashton Butler

Ashton Butler is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter originally from Murray, Utah, blending country, rock, and blues into a modern, authentic sound. Influenced by artists like John Mayer, Chris Stapleton, and Johnny Cash, his music ranges from blues-driven ballads to country-infused rock, always rooted in honest storytelling. After discovering Nashville in 2015, Ashton made the move in 2019 and has since performed over 1,000 live shows, becoming a consistent presence in writer’s rounds, full-band showcases, and venues across the city. Known for his engaging performances and ability to connect with a crowd, he brings both energy and authenticity to every stage. Ashton began releasing original music in 2020, continuing to develop a sound that reflects his diverse influences while staying true to his roots. For him, songwriting is more than music—it’s a form of expression. As he puts it, “When you can’t put your feelings into words, try singing.”
