Shane Zen

Shane Zen, Your Favorite Space Cowboy, is a singer-songwriter that brings a fusion of psychedelic western folk music, masterfully combining traditional solo acoustic performance peppered in with a full band sound using a looper (depending on the venue/gig), this one man band bends time and makes 3-4hrs fly by, more entertaining and captivating than any solo artist you've seen before. Sitting in the crowd with a blindfold on during a night of music by Shane Zen, one would think that multiple artists/bands had split the bill, but no, all of it is the same solo feller. Drawing upon the classic americana of old-school Western music, and combining this with deeply psychedelic and philosophical lyricism, this unique blend is exactly what the doctor ordered to revive the dying American songwriter and modern music as a whole. Based between Arizona and Tennessee, USA, Shane travels in his camper van and lives between his off-grid homesteads in both states, and can often be found singing on mountaintops to his dogs or wandering the wilderness singing to the ancient spirits of the land. This space cowboy is one of the freest spirits left on this Earth. A mind-blowing one-man-band, Shane has performed all over the Southwest, from biker bars to festivals to upscale corporate events, weddings and all that jazz. A prolific and uncommonly thoughtful & daring songwriter, this diamond from the rough desert of Arizona makes fans yearn for the days of old while setting the stage for a brand new future. Come along for the ride, as Your Favorite Space Cowboy carves his name into the Records of Eternity.
