American singer-songwriter Brooke Ashley brings together the warmth of folk, the intimacy of jazz, and an authentic earthy, soulful sound. Born and raised between Germany and Japan, she discovered songwriting as a way to translate her experiences into music. She was inspired to teach herself the guitar (finally) while in Japan during COVID. Drawing from influences like Amy Winehouse, Lianne La Havas, & Kacey Musgraves, her sound is intimate, organic, and emotionally rich; rooted in storytelling.
