Jerome Goosman was awarded the Bluebird Cafe’s “Golden Pick” for his song “Bought the Van”, and Allie Lamb was runner-up in Center Stage Magazine’s first annual Indie Country Showdown in 2024. Together they make up the Late Bloomers, who’s tight harmonies and witty songwriting make each show memorable.
Allie Lamb and Jerome Goosman blend crisp vocal harmonies and witty songwriting, backed by a common love for the grit of the blues and the banter of roots music. A multi-faceted instrumentalist, Jerome has pored over those six strings since the beginning of time. He now tours as the lead guitarist for multiple acts and actively collaborates in Nashville’s country and bluegrass songwriting circles. His single “Bought The Van,” penned on a Taylor 414, was awarded the Golden Pick by the famed Bluebird Cafe and Taylor Guitars. Dubbed a wordsmith by peers, Allie’s country tunes encapsulate the beauty and humor in life's ordinary moments worth remembering. She was runner-up in Center Stage Magazine’s first annual Indie Country Showdown in 2024, and has received recognition in the Nashville Songwriters Association International song contest. With an honest voice likened to Americana greats Dolly Parton, Patty Griffin, and Emmylou Harris, she cuts through the noise to connect with audiences of all shapes and sizes. Together, the Late Bloomers believe it’s better late, than never, to do what you were put on earth to do.
