About
Terry Thompson grew up along the banks of the Mississippi River south of New Orleans. He has toured with band such as Three Dog Night and America and opened for acts such as Ray Price, The Everly Brothers, The Kentucky Headhunters, and Skip Ewing and has had songs recorded by Ed Bruce and Mel McDaniel.
Terry is from Belle Chasse, Louisiana. His songs combine masterfully crafted lyrics with compelling Melodie’s to create memorable stories. He has worked with some of Nashville’s top musicians some of whom join him to create a tightly knit group called “The Stray Dogs”.
