Maura Streppa

Maura Streppa is not easily placed — and that’s exactly the point. Shaped by Illinois, North Carolina, and now Nashville, Tennessee, she carries the grit of the Midwest and the warmth of the South into every song she writes and every note she sings. The result is a voice that feels both lived-in and luminous: soulful, textured, and unmistakably her own. Her music lives at the intersection of modern country and roots-leaning Americana — barroom anthems, bruised-but-hopeful confessionals, and intimate snapshots pulled straight from her own life. She doesn’t write around the hard stuff. She writes through it, with a rare unfiltered honesty that makes listeners feel like they’re hearing something they were never supposed to overhear — and can’t stop listening to anyway. That authenticity has earned her serious attention. Maura’s work has been recognized by Billboard, American Songwriter, SiriusXM’s The Highway, and iHeartRadio’s Women of Country. Her song “Singer and the Song” claimed the 2022 Tennessee Songwriters Week title, and she’s shared stages in support of artists including Breakfield (formerly Boy Named Banjo), Drake Milligan, Miles Squires, CMAT, JD Clayton, Belles, Tony Arata, and Jeff Trott. Now, Maura is stepping into her most ambitious chapter yet. In 2026, she’ll release highly anticipated new music co-written and produced by Sadler Vaden — known for his work with Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit and Morgan Wade — alongside an extensive U.S. tour. It’s the kind of music she’s been building toward: bigger in sound, deeper in truth, and entirely on her own terms. Raw, real, and creating a space where listeners feel seen, understood, and empowered — Maura Streppa is just getting started.
